Subject:  Postdoc position in spatial data modeling at University of
Michigan Water Center



The University of Michigan Water Center seeks applicants for a position
involving space-time modeling of water quality datasets.  Applicants should
have an advanced background in geo/spatial statistics and at least some
familiarity with ecological systems.  Experience with model development
using scripting languages such as Matlab and/or R is expected.



This position will provide a competitive salary, benefits, and the
opportunity to work with an experienced team of aquatic scientists and
numerical modelers in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  The position is initially for
one year, with a possibility for extension contingent on satisfactory
performance and funding.  Applications will be considered immediately.
