NUI Maynooth in Dublin is currently advertising a Professor of Physical 
Geography post advertised in the general area of 'climate science' and 
are hoping to attract a strong international field for the position (job 
spec attached).

The role is a strategic role for the department and the university and 
the Irish science funding body, Science Foundation Ireland (SFI), have 
indicated that if the candidate is of international calibre they are 
prepared to invest €5M in providing funding to the successful individual
