Dear all,

We are pleased to announce a job opportunity exists for a Lecturer in
Physical Geography at Newcastle University. You should be able to
contribute to our existing key research themes (cryospheric systems,
landscape evolution, palaeoclimatology and river management) and have a
track record of research and publication commensurate with the level of
appointment.

You will be expected to make a full contribution to undergraduate and
postgraduate teaching and to undertake supervision of postgraduate
students. We welcome applications from candidates with research interests
in landscape dynamics with a focus on quantifying and modelling river,
glacier and/or hillslope processes, or Quaternary environmental change
and/or geochronology. Experience in remote sensing and/or GIS would be a
particular benefit.
