Postdoctoral Fellow: Exposure Assessment

The Koehler Research Group, in the Environmental Health Sciences Department in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, has an opening for a post-doctoral researcher in the field of occupational and environmental exposure assessment. The successful candidate will have a leadership role in several multi-disciplinary research projects focused on assessing new sensor technology for applicability in indoor and outdoor environments and for personal exposure assessment. Research will occur under the supervision of Professor Kirsten Koehler (http://www.jhsph.edu/faculty/directory/profile/5381/Koehler/Kirsten).

The selected candidate will have a doctoral degree in a quantitative science, preferably environmental health or engineering, and will have research experience in aerosols and air quality instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have strong laboratory skills, knowledge of statistical programming, demonstrated communication skills (written and oral), organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently and within collaborative teams.

The position is full-time with a multi-year duration, contingent upon satisfactory performance and continued funding. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience. Johns Hopkins University is located in Baltimore, MD.
