The School of Engineering at the University of California Merced invites
qualified applications for a tenure-track position in
Environmental/Ecological Engineering at all levels. Desirable candidates
will have proven interests in ecological engineering, broadly defined as
the investigation of sustainable systems that integrate human activities
with the natural environment. Possible areas of research emphasis include
but are not limited to the following: sustainable wastewater systems;
ecosystem restoration and construction; interactions among hydrologic,
biogeochemical, physiological, and soil processes; hydrologic ecosystem
services and resiliency of sustainable systems to global change. To apply,
