*Visiting Faculty Position at Reed College. * The Chemistry Department 
(http://academic.reed.edu/chemistry/) invites applications for a 
two-year visiting position in the field of Environmental Analytical 
Chemistry starting Fall 2014.  The successful candidate will be capable 
of offering courses in environmental, analytical, general chemistry, and 
participating in an interdisciplinary environmental studies program 
(http://academic.reed.edu/es/).  Teaching duties also include advising 
senior thesis students in year-long research projects.  Excellent 
equipment for teaching and research are available, including a 400 MHz 
multinuclear NMR spectrometer, GC/MS and ATR/FTIR instruments housed in 
a 45,000 sq. ft. dedicated chemistry building.  A Ph.D. is required; 
postdoctoral experience is preferred but not required.  Preference will 
be given to candidates with teaching experience in environmental and 
analytical chemistry.
