The AIRIE Program at Colorado State University (CSU) is affiliated with a
new Centre of Excellence at University of Oslo (UiO), CEED (Centre for
Earth Evolution and Dynamics). Highly motivated applicants are sought to
carry out frontier research in the Arctic region funded by the Norwegian
petroleum industry under the CHRONOS project. Research directions are
guided by results addressing key issues in geoscience while simultaneously
enhancing the knowledge base for industry – for example, time scale
calibration and correlation, paleoenvironment reconstruction, seawater
anoxia, chemistry and correlation in lacustrine systems, sulfide and shale
geochronology, and climate change in the deep past. The AIRIE Program is a
global leader in development and application of Re-Os technology with a
reputation for integrating field science with lab results. Learn more at
