The NOAA Air Resources Laboratory invites applications for a post-doctoral
researcher to participate in an atmospheric chemistry modeling study
centered on analysis of data from the 2013 Southeast Atmosphere Study
(SAS). The project will focus on improving the representation of model
processes affecting biogenic VOC chemistry under a range of environmental
and chemical conditions. Applicants should have experience using 3-D
atmospheric chemistry models (CMAQ preferred) and be familiar with biogenic
VOC emissions models and chemical processes. The position will be for 1
year with the possibility of extension depending upon performance and
acquisition of additional funding. The position can be located in either
College Park, MD, or Oak Ridge, TN.
Interested applicants should send a CV, a cover letter describing the
applicant’s experience and research interests, and contact information for
three references to Dr. Rick Saylor (rick.saylor at noaa.gov).
Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the
position is filled.
