*We invite applicants for a postdoctoral researcher position in the
Department of Geosciences, at the Pennsylvania State University. The
research, funded by NASA, targets development of advanced analytical
methods for carbon isotope analyses of organic biomarkers in trace amounts.
Work will be carried out in collaboration with researchers at PSU, MIT
and Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. Candidates should have a recent PhD
and experience in one or more areas of light-isotope mass spectrometry, gas
chromatography and microfluidic devices, as well as expertise and research
interests in geochemistry or biogeochemistry. Contact: Kate Freeman (
