Hi all,
Bob Henson is wondering if we'd like to submit a short announcement for 
the next UCAR Update.  If someone has a suggestion- or would like to 
exercise their literary skills- I'd be happy to assist. Or... if someone 
would like to suggest a key point or two, I'll translate it into a more 
or less grammatically correct paragraph and send it to Bob.

If your group/division/program/institute has any announcements for the 
October issue of UCAR Update, please let me know by end of day Tues. 
10/23. These could include postdoc or grant deadlines, opportunities for 
collaboration, and the like.  All items should be relevant to an 
external (i.e., university) audience.  The October     issue will be 
sent on Thurs. or Fri. 10/25-10/26.

Items from previous issues that are still valid will automatically 
appear under "Reminders from last issue."
