[EMP2012] App status

The EMP app is ready, with the following issues that must be resolved
before the eclipse.

1. As mentioned, I need a PHP server address. I set up the App to use
the local Apache server on the Mac book to service http forms via PHP.
This essentially needs to be updated and tested for the live server.

2. The App will be cleaned today to remove the App author information
and developer license information (Adrian and yours truly).

This should be done ASAP. I will go home at noon once I have the URL
this morning.

Next:

1. The developer will go to Australia with Scott or Lance. It has my
personal developer license on it. Because there are a finite number of
ad hoc installs allowable, and because UCAR has been unable (and likely
will not capable) of purchasing developer licenses in the near term, I
will need Lance or Scott to be able to buy a license immediately this
morning. The developer license I have is entwined with other Apple
accounts and I cannot allow it to go out as my accounts will be open.

2. The developer license(s) will be necessary to ad hoc install on to
new devices in Australia.

3. The process is relatively easy once this is done. I've made a movie
about how to do it and placed it on the desktop.

4. Two (2) devices are now loaded with the eclipse software and will
work (iPod and iPhone). The uploader will not work until the URL is
corrected.

5. Additional devices will need to be provisioned (ad-hod install). This
will be done with the help of Chrome Remote Desktop and Adrian if you
need remote assistance. He will be available after Thursday around 1800
GMT to assist in an install.

6. If there are no other licenses, there are no other ad hoc installs as
I cannot disentangle my dev license from my other Apple accounts.

So, action item summary:

1. Get ready talk session information and pass it to Lee Sutherland

2. Prepare remote desktop for use inside of UCAR for this session. If
none is available, Lee will conduct RD session from his home.

3. Get Lee Sutherland the upload URL, plus directory structure. Suggest
voice conference with Adrian (developer), myself, and and at 1900 GMT
(1200 MST), today.

4. Conduct modifications to uploader, re-provision two UCAR iOS devices.

5. Install licenses from Lance or Scott. If none available, close
development project and Lance and Scott will go to Australia with the
two devices provisioned only.

6. If licenses are available, install, delete Lee's dev keys, and send
laptop with Lance and Scott. Lance and Scott shall use the video to
learn to provision devices. If this doesn't work, Lance and Scott will
contact Adrian at or after 1600GMT on Thursday to arrange a tutorial via
Chrome remote desktop.

7. Lance and Scott shall prepare a disclaimer for the App, write
directions on how to use it (easy), including instructions on how to
upload should the uploader app not function, or how to upload SLR photos.

Thanks,
Lee
