We have recently finished an 80 member, ensemble reanalysis covering the
most recent decade, using a 1-degree CAM6 and DART.
Several data sets have been archived to the Research Data Archive 345.0.
They are designed to be useful to a variety of researchers both in the CESM
community and outside of it.

You can find details and usage notes in the DART wiki: NCAR/DART
<https://github.com/NCAR/DART/wiki>
There's also a presentation to the ESPWG on
(Some) Presentations featuring DART: The Data Assimilation Research Testbed
<https://dart.ucar.edu/pages/Presentations.html>
"Kevin Raeder Jun 2020"

In summary, the data products can be used for:
+ Realistic atmospheric forcing of all CESM surface components
   in simulations and assimilations, with justifiable variability.
   Hourly to daily frequency, as appropriate.
+ Observation space diagnostics and assimilation increments.
   4 times/day.
+ Real world initial conditions for 1 degree, CAM6 (CLM, CICE, and MOSART?)
    ensemble hindcasts, with justifiable spread.
    Weekly
+ Comparison with other reanalyses and free-running Large Ensemble results.

Please contact raeder at ucar.edu with any questions that aren't answered in
the wiki, especially about new uses of these data sets.

Thanks,
Kevin
