<p class="font-claude-response-body">Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO), the region just above the stratosphere, is emerging as a frontier for satellite operations, offering closer proximity to Earth and much higher revisit rates. But operating there means confronting
atmospheric drag, variability in thermospheric density, and the corrosive effects of atomic oxygen. Commercial operators project dozens to hundreds of VLEO spacecraft within the next 3–5 years, making this a critical moment to bring together the research and
operational communities.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="font-claude-response-body">This session will bring together atmospheric scientists and operators to define the state of the art in understanding and operating in VLEO, and to identify the key open challenges ahead. We're looking for talks spanning:<o:p></o:p></p>
