computers, networks, and sensors with unprecedented capabilities. The geosciences, particularly atmospheric, oceanic and Earth system sciences face complex, interconnected challenges across a wide range of scales that present uniquely compelling use cases
for both quantum computing and quantum sensing.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The workshop would bring together experts in quantum computing, quantum sensing, atmospheric science, oceanography, geophysics, data science, and modeling to:<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Identify high-impact applications</span></b><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> where quantum technologies could deliver near- and long-term scientific breakthroughs in geosciences.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Establish a community roadmap</span></b><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> for collaborative research, pilot projects, and sustained engagement across disciplines.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Define methodological challenges</span></b><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> and research priorities in quantum algorithm development, sensor integration, and real-world deployment scenarios.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
