The International Symposium for Equatorial Aeronomy 17 (<b>ISEA-17</b>)
will take place on-site in <b>Liberia, Costa Rica</b> from <b>February
9 to 13, 2026</b>.<br>
<br>
The International Symposium on Equatorial Aeronomy (ISEA) is held
once in every three to four years. Researchers from the fields of
atmosphere, ionosphere and magnetosphere science come together in
ISEA to share new results, discuss the current state-of-the-art, and
identify promising topics for future research. ISEA-17 consists of
five scientific sessions and a discussion session on Space Traffic
and Sustainability at low altitudes (VLEO). <br>

The ISEA-17 website is available at <b><a

and the <b>call for abstracts</b> has been <b>extended</b> and is
now open until <b>August 31, 2025</b> for regular abstract
submissions. The call for travel support applications is closed
since July 31, 2025. <br>
