<span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: rgb(34, 34, 34);">Data assimilation has become an integral tool to combine multi-sensor observations for the study of the near-Earth space environment. Radio propagation represents an integral

 element of data assimilation in this domain, given the availability of radio and EM instruments capable of directly or indirectly remote sensing the near-Earth space environment. Augmenting space environment modeling through data assimilation enables novel

 discoveries and advances in radio propagation that could represent fundamental advances in the field of radio science. </span></p>
