The abstract deadline is the 9th of February.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Session Description:<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>C2.1 : Gravity waves and turbulence have long been recognized as integral to our understanding of the neutral middle atmosphere and ionosphere. However, important questions still remain regarding gravity wave generation and propagation; instabilities and wave breaking, secondary wave generation, energy transfer to turbulence, coupling between atmospheric layers, and other topics. This session is intended to bring together experts working on related topics in the middle atmosphere.
