The Utah State University Department of Physics invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in experimental physics. Current activities include atmospheric and space physics, physics of materials in extreme environments, quantum devices, and photonics

 (link). This is an academic year (nine-month), tenure-track position. The relative weights assigned to domains of responsibility are 50% in research or creative endeavors, 40% in teaching, and 10% in service. A competitive package is available to support establishing

 an active research laboratory. Expectations of the position include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, mentoring and funding student research, establishing and maintaining a funded research program, and regularly publishing scientific results.</p>
