of Physics and Astronomy</a> at Dartmouth College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2024. Area of specialization: theoretical and computational plasma physics, including space plasma
physics, fusion plasma physics, and/or plasma astrophysics. Expectations for this position include a vigorous research program involving undergraduate and graduate students, and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. The Department of Physics and Astronomy
has more than 20 faculty members and approximately 50 Ph.D. students, with research interests in astronomy, cosmology, space and plasma physics, and quantum and condensed matter physics.
