We are pleased to announce that the NEROC symposium will be held on March 14–15, 2022 (Monday and Tuesday), from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event will be held remotely; access information will be shared with registered attendees beforehand.<br>
<br>
This year’s Sixth Annual NEROC Symposium will again feature a welcoming, participatory “fireside chat” format that includes four single-themed, panel discussions. Each Fireside Chat will include one or two moderators, four to five panelists, and time for discussion
with the audience. The moderators will facilitate the conversation and present the goals of the session. Panelists will make brief remarks, with community discussion encouraged. The Fireside Chats are intended to focus on ways the NEROC community can foster
collaboration and develop mutually beneficial programs. <br>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">We will once again split the symposium into four major themes: educational opportunities for NEROC, specifically in the radio astronomy and radio science arena, as well as
potential collaborations in the areas of ion-neutral coupling, space, and polar science. We will host two student sessions, including both posters and presentations, with a $100 award for the best student poster and student presentation.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The Fireside Chats provide an opportunity for the panelists and audience to help craft action items together for the NEROC community. At the end of the symposium, a list of
potential collaborations, action items, and a summary of the discussion provided by the moderators will be forwarded to the group. <br>
