<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">NSF announces the search for the Geospace Section Head as either an SES career or Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA) position. The Geospace Section Head serves as a member of the Division leadership team
and as the Directorate's principal spokesperson in the area of geospace science research. Responsible to the Division Director, Division of Atmospheric and Geospace Sciences, for the overall planning, management and commitment of budgeted funds for the Section,
which includes programs in Aeronomy, Magnetospheric Physics, Space Weather, Solar Terrestrial, and Geospace Facilities. The incumbent also serves as the Division's primary source of guidance concerning research priorities and program development in geospace
sciences.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
