Greetings All,

I would like to encourage you all to submit your proposals for 2027
ISR World Day experiments and observations before *June 19*. These
proposals will be presented during the "Incoherent Scatter Working Group”
meeting
<https://cedarscience.org/workshop/isr-facility-updates-and-world-day-planning-meeting>
that
will take place June 24 at 10:00 AM CDT (15:00 UTC) during CEDAR 2026. At
this meeting, we will have discussions for potential 2027
ISR world day operations, as well as other general ISR discussions. All are
welcome to participate! *Please reach out if you have questions, or are
curious about writing a proposal.*

"World Day" operations are an opportunity to direct the global network of
radars towards a single scientific objective for time scales of a few days.
Guidelines for applying for a World Day are at the following link, as is a
template for the application:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1YzYMNr4GhLFJKKhotHWo_1A7RxRf5JaY?usp=drive_link.
Please send applications or questions to lindsay.v.goodwin at njit.edu

If you wish to be included as a participant in the discussion this year,
but cannot travel to CEDAR, then please send an email to lindsay.v.goodwin
@njit.edu so you can attend virtually (virtual information will also be
posted here
<https://cedarscience.org/workshop/isr-facility-updates-and-world-day-planning-meeting>).
If you have benefitted from World Day operations in the past, general
research talks related to these modes are very welcomed during the "ISR
Science Highlight Session
<https://cedarscience.org/workshop/isr-science-highlights>" on June 25 at
4:00 PM CDT (21:00 UTC) during CEDAR.

Best,
Lindsay Goodwin on behalf of the "Incoherent Scatter Working Group" Session
Conveners
