We are happy to announce the SCOSTEP/COURSE logo contest. The COURSE
(Cross-scale coupling processes in the solar-terrestrial system) is the new
program of the Scientific Committee on Solar-Terrestrial Physics (SCOSTEP,
https://scostep.org/) from 2026 to 2030. The COURSE program aims at
facilitating a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach through
focused, internationally coordinated efforts addressing the cross-scale
coupling processes in the Sun-Earth system. The SCOSTEP/COURSE officers are
looking for a logo that expresses this COURSE concept.
The successful winner of the logo contest will receive US$500 as the award.
For those who have candidate logo ideas, please submit them to Odele
Coddington (scostep at lasp.colorado.edu), the Scientific Secretary of
SCOSTEP, by December 15, 2025.
The decision will be made by the COURSE Steering Committee members, which
contain COURSE co-chairs and co-leaders of the three COURSE Focus Areas.
The winner of the logo contest shall transfer the copyright of the logo to
SCOSTEP for the use of the logo for advertising the COURSE program.
Detailed descriptions of the COURSE program are available at:
