Can you please post the following announcement to the CEDAR mailing list?
-- GEM / CEDAR 2025 Comparative Planetary Magnetospheric Processes –
We’re excited to announce the schedule for the Comparative Planetary Magnetospheric Processes (COMP) focus group at the upcoming GEM-CEDAR workshop.
There will be four sessions in total, consisting of one stand-alone session focusing on planetary datasets and three joint sessions to cover various comparative topics:
Session schedule – all Mountain Time:
1. COMP-CEDAR on comparative ionospheres: Monday 23 June, 01:30 PM - 03:30 PM
2. COMP stand-alone on planetary datasets: Tuesday 24 June, 01:30 PM - 03:30 PM
3. COMP-RBSoS: Friday 27 June, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
4. KiTS-COMP: Friday 27 June, 01:30 PM - 03:30 PM
We invite you all to participate in our sessions. The detailed agenda of our FG sessions will be posted to the following Wiki page at a later time: (https://gem.epss.ucla.edu/mediawiki/index.php/FG:_Comparative_Planetary_Magnetospheric_Processes).
If you are interested in contributing a short presentation to the joint sessions then please contact George Clark (george.clark at jhuapl.edu<mailto:george.clark at jhuapl.edu>), Wen Li (wenli77 at bu.edu<mailto:wenli77 at bu.edu>), Harriet George (harriet.george at lasp.colorado.edu<mailto:harriet.george at lasp.colorado.edu>), and Harry Arnold (harry.arnold at jhuapl.edu<mailto:harry.arnold at jhuapl.edu>) with your presentation title by June 13th. However, please note that time is limited, and we hope to allot time for open discussions; therefore, it may be the case that not everyone who wishes to present will have time to. Virtual participation will be accommodated whenever possible.
