CEDAR email: Invitation: Final Conference for DARPA’s AtmoSense Phase 2

Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to the Final Conference for Phase 2 of DARPA's AtmoSense program. The conference will take place in Daytona Beach, FL, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 16th–17th, 2025. Registration will also be done through the website.

This conference aims to (a) summarize key accomplishments from phase 2 of the AtmoSense program (i.e., new field tests and numerical applications) and (b) explore and foster potential connections to the broader research community, e.g., Heliophysics and space weather, fluid modeling, applied mathematics and numerical methods, remote sensing, seismoacoustics, infrasound, and other fields. To achieve this, the meeting will feature presentations by AtmoSense phase 2 performers as well as other attendees from related fields.  We hope this will prioritize new discussions and inspire project ideas across disciplines.
