Dear CEDAR Colleagues,
The University of Massachusetts Lowell (UML) and Lowell Digisonde
International (LDI) are pleased to announce the XVI International GIRO
Forum (IGF) 2025 to take place in Lowell, Massachusetts from September
22 to 26, 2005. We’ll be celebrating two major milestones: the 100th
anniversary of the ionosonde's invention and the upcoming 200th
Digisonde system built in Lowell.
Full details and registration form are available at
https://digisonde.com/IGF
The IGF has long served as a traditional gathering point for ionosonde
operators, engineers, and data analysts to share insights and best
practices in system operations. This year, responding to popular demand,
we are excited to announce a *Science Day* on the opening day of the
event—dedicated to highlighting cutting-edge scientific research enabled
by ionosondes. We warmly invite you to join us for the full duration of
the Forum, where we will delve into Digisonde "under the hood"
technology and exchange experiences of operating Digisonde to its full
potential.
In addition, LDI will unveil the latest addition to the Digisonde
family: the *Digisonde 25*.
We sincerely hope you can join us for this special event.
Best regards,
Ivan Galkin : UML GIRO
Ryan Hamel : LDI
