Session title: “Future of Space Weather Products and Services
Session Description: As space weather poses increasing risks to critical
assets, such as, satellite operations, aviation, power grids, and national
security, the need for a robust, collaborative space weather enterprise has
never been greater. Improved understanding, observations, forecasts, and
models for space weather events can lead to better quality and more timely
space weather products and services. Public-private partnerships can serve
as a vital framework to enhance space weather forecasting capabilities,
develop innovative tools, and ensure timely and actionable information
delivery. This session will explore the evolving roles of government
agencies, commercial stakeholders, and academic institutions in advancing
space weather resilience. Presentations will highlight successful case
studies, emerging business models, and recommendations for overcoming
barriers to these partnerships. The session aims to facilitate dialogue
that leads to a more integrated and responsive space weather ecosystem,
leveraging the strengths of both public and private sectors.
