We are pleased to announce the *13th International Workshop on Long-Term
Changes and Trends in the Atmosphere <https://trends2026.casconf.cn/>*, to
be held:

*Dates:* May 18–22, 2026
*Location:* Beijing, China

The workshop will focus on the following topics:

   -

   Observed and simulated long-term changes and trends in the middle
   atmosphere
   -

   Observed and simulated long-term changes and trends in the ionosphere
   and thermosphere
   -

   Physical drivers and mechanisms of long-term changes and trends in the
   middle and upper atmosphere
   -

   Other relevant topics (miscellaneous)

Note: “Trends” refers to systematic, often linear changes over time, while
“long-term changes” encompasses broader persistent variations, including
nonlinear, episodic, or abrupt shifts.

*Registration and abstract submission will open in October 2025.*
