The 22nd International EISCAT Symposium and the 49th Annual European Meeting on Atmospheric Studies by Optical Methods (49AM, also known as “The Optical Meeting”) will be held jointly at the Space Campus, Kiruna, Sweden, from 24th to 28th August 2026, hosted by EISCAT AB and the Swedish Institute of Space Physics (IRF).

The Symposium will be preceded by the International EISCAT Incoherent Scatter Radar School, which will take place 17th to 21st August 2026 at Kilpisjarvi, Finland.

Registration and abstract submission will open in February.
