The NSF is holding a review panel for the Collaborations in AI and Geosciences (CAIG) program<https://www.nsf.gov/funding/opportunities/caig-collaborations-artificial-intelligence-geosciences> (NSF 25-530), which is a partnership between the NSF Directorates for Geosciences (GEO), Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE), and Math and Physical Sciences (MPS). CAIG supports the development of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) methods for geosciences research, along with associated educational and technical efforts to build capacity for adoption of AI-driven approaches by geoscientists.
The CAIG panel will occur on May 28th - May 30th, 2025. This particular panel will be reviewing proposals primarily in the topical areas of Aeronomy, Geomagnetic Physics, Solar Terrestrial Physics, and Space Weather in the geospace domain.
