CEDAR email: MEETING: The 5th CGS Community Workshop

Dear colleagues,

The team of the Center for Geospace Storms (CGS) would like to bring to your attention the 5th CGS Community Workshop we are planning to hold on November 18-19, 2024. The in-person component will be held at Johns Hopkins APL in Laurel, MD. The meeting will also be open for participation by the larger community via Zoom.

The purpose of the workshop is to bring together experts, early career scientists and students in the fields of space and atmospheric sciences, for an open-forum discussion of outstanding issues in the physics of geospace storms as well as ways to broaden participation in our field.

While the agenda is still being developed, the list of speakers has been finalized and can be found on the workshop webpage along with the workshop registration: https://cgs.jhuapl.edu/workshop.

In addition to the presentations by the invited speakers, the workshop will include a graduate student showcase. Registration is free but is required for both in-person and remote participants. Registration will remain open until October 24, 2024.
