ESA's Living Planet Symposium is amongst the largest Earth observation conferences in the world, and ESA Earth Observation Programme's main triennial event.
The 2022 LPS is scheduled for 23-27 May 2022 in Bonn, Germany. The preliminary programme is available here<https://lps22.esa.int/frontend/index.php?folder_id=4294&page_id=>.
The abstract submission interface<https://lps22.esa.int/frontend/index.php?folder_id=4441&page_id=> is now open, with a strict deadline on 26th November 2021.
Whilst the emphasis of the symposium revolves around how EO contributes to science and society, Earth's environment and climate, some sessions reach farther afield and out into the near-Earth space environment. Selected sessions dedicated to Geospace (the upper atmosphere, ionosphere, and space weather), include, without being limited to:
A6.01 - Geospace System Science: Thermosphere, Ionosphere, Magnetosphere and Their Coupling
A6.02 - Upper/Lower Atmosphere Processes, Coupling and Ion-Neutral Interactions
B2.05 - Swarm - ESA's Extremely Versatile Magnetic Field and Geospace Explorer
You are warmly invited to submit abstracts to sessions of your interest, and to further promote the event amongst your colleagues.
Please consult the conference website for further details, at: https://www.lps22.esa.int/
