Postdoctoral positions in Ionosphere-Thermosphere at Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen

We invite young scientists to apply for postdoctoral positions at the Institute of Space Science and Applied Technology (ISSAT) at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Shenzhen. The successful candidate will join our Ionosphere-Thermosphere Research team investigating the Earth’s upper atmosphere. The successful candidate is expected to have a recent (within 3 years) Ph.D in physics, space physics, plasma physic, mathematics or relevant disciplines. Research experiences in numerical simulation, data analysis or machine learning are highly desired.

The appointment duration will be two years with a maximum of three years. The salary will be ￥230K (tax-free) Chinese Yuan per year with an excellent benefits package. HIT, Shenzhen is located in Shenzhen, an important economic zone in China very close to Hong Kong. ISSAT is a newly established space science institute. It consists of ten laboratories such as the space weather storm lab, space plasma lab, low-latitude space environment observation and application lab.
