ESPAS Training school: Near Earth Space Data Infrastructure for e-Science

Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, Poland
19th -23th October (Monday-Friday), 2015

The ESPAS Consortium is pleased to announce the ESPAS Training School,
which will be held in Warsaw from 19th to 23rd October 2015. The school
addresses PhD Students and Young Scientists and aims at training on the
use of the ESPAS system.

The school includes:

    introduction to the science behind the system
    overviews on instruments/data/models of interest
    insight into the ESPAS system architecture
    data model and ontology
    practical “hands-on” sessions on the usage of the system

The programme includes a total of 20 hours of lectures and practical
sessions to be delivered by expert scientists in the field. A
certificate of attendance for 1 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and
Accumulation System) will be issued to the students attending the
Training School.
