A University Prize Fellowship in Space Weather is available in the  
Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of  
Bath, UK.

This new position will be within the broad theme of space-weather  
research. Research areas of interest include space weather, data  
assimilation, RF engineering and space-environment effects on  
communications, navigation and surveillance systems.

The prize fellow will join an active and enthusiastic team of ten  
academic staff and more than 30 researchers and PhD students. The  
Prize Fellow will lead work investigating the impact of space weather  
on navigation, communication and surveillance systems.

The initial appointment will be to a fixed-term Research Fellow post  
with the expectation of transfer to a permanent lectureship at the end  
of year two, or exceptionally at the end of year three.
