Talks related to the workshop "The equatorial ionospheric response to
coupling from the atmosphere and the magnetosphere and its longitudinal
dependence" are welcome. (See the workshop description at
http://cedarweb.hao.ucar.edu/wiki/index.php/2012_Workshop:African_ionosphere
_and_ISR_radar_plans).

In particular, we seek talks and participation to discussion on the
following 3 topics:
# New results from Jicamarca, C/NOFS and other equatorial ionospheric sensors --
  ground and space-based
# New results in equatorial electrodynamics, thermosphere and irregularities
# In addition, we seek brief inputs about science projects that will take
advantage of the planned sensors such as the incoherent scatter radar in
Ethiopia, the COSMIC-2 low inclination constellation, and cubesat missions.
These inputs can be as short as 1 or 2 slides.

Regarding the six COSMIC-2 satellites scheduled for launch in 2015 into a
low inclination (24o) orbit, note that they will carry four sensors: an Ion
Velocity Meter, a Planar Langmuir Probe, a multi frequency radio beacon and
a GPS Occultation Sensor.

If you intend to give a presentation, please send your suggested title to
the 4 organizers before June 18.
