Call for papers: JASTP special issue High-Latitude Geospace
Environment studied by Incoherent Scatter Radars

Quest Editors Dr. Esa Turunen, EISCAT Sweden, Prof. Ruiyuan Liu, PRIC
China, Prof. Jian Wu, CRIRP China.

Deadline of manuscript submission is extended to 15.02.2012

Paper submissions are invited for a special issue of Journal of
Atmospheric and Solar-Terrestrial Physics, highlighting the recent
advance in geospace environment studies by incoherent scatter radars
at high-latitudes. In addition to the papers presented at the 15th
EISCAT International Workshop in Qingdao, China, on 5-9 September
2011, submissions would be expected from the authors, who work with
the PFISR, RISR, Millstone Hill, Stromfjord, Arecibo, Kharkov and
Irkutsk radars, as relevant to the thematic special issue. Combining
other instruments with the IS radars in order to gain new insights is
encouraged. As some recent results by low-latitude radars relate to
high-latitude phenomena, contributions which study of coupling through
the atmospheric regions may also be possible.

The submission website for the journal is located at: http://ees.elsevier.com/atp/default.asp

To ensure that all manuscripts are correctly identified for the
special issue, it is important that authors select Special Issue: 15th
EISCAT, when they reach the "Article Type" step in the submission
process.
