<br />I am new to CAM3. Its an Altix - Itanium machine that I am working on. I have used Intel compilers V 8.0 for building CAM. I get the below error message while running CAM3.

Message: Finally the problem's solved. It was the problem with versions; I was using the older compiler versions as I suspected.

<br />It compiled and linked without a problem with version 8.0.

<br />        I want to run CAM 3.0 by increasing the SST over a specified region (not over the whole earth), by 1K and then use it as the input initial condition.  If any of you have tried something similar or could provide pointers in this regard,  it would be of great help.

<br />Do you use NCL?  I've done some CAM source file manipulation using NCL, and I could send you a bit of code if you're familiar with the language.  It's actually pretty simple.
