Message: OS X is supported in ESMF version 2.0 and higher but the CCSM ships with an older version.
<br />Working with a very helpful person (whose name and email, I have lost) in the ESMF group I got a working version of the esmf that ships with CCSM on my OS X machine using the xlf compiler.
<br />I was getting the single column model to work, but the clm should be the same.
<br />I have a folder with all the esmf code for OS X (about 60MB). You are welcome to it, if you want it.
<br />You could also contact the ESMF group, they were very helpful.
