[cam-users] Heat flux(shflx and lhflx) direction in CCM3?

Hi ccm3 users,
 I'm now want to know the direction of heat flux, such
as sensible heat flux(shflx) and latent heat
flux(lhflx). In other words, what's the meaning about
the positive(negative) heat flux? Does the
positive(negative) heat flux(lhflx and shflx) mean
that heat flux goes upward(downward) from ocean or
land(atmosphere) to atmosphere(ocean or land)?
