[cam-users] enquiry for radiation and cloud related study

Dear all,

  I am a research student working in SAC/ISRO,India.i
recently started radiation and cloud related
studies.My main interest is daily evolution od cloud
radiative forcing in CCM3.6. Anybody who did this type
of work with CCM please reply the following doubts.

1)What is the optimum time of averaging (say every
1hr) required for daily mean radiation calculations,
if we want to study the daily evolution of Cloud
radiative forcing in CCM3?

2)How shortwave cloud radiative forcing at top of the
atmosphere can be computed?
whether (SOLIN-FSNTC) will give clear sky short wave
flux at top of the atmosphere?
