[cam-users] CAm2.0 user needs help

Hi all,
I am trying run CAM2.0 on
Red Hat Linux with Portland Group compilers        
version(4.00).
In my attempt to achieve the above, I was able to configure and build the
model succesfully
in smp mode with fv dynamics. However, when I try to call the run-pc.csh
script file I get an error 
set: Variable name must begin with a letter
Also, I was wondering if there is another way of creating an executable
without having to run the .csh script.Such as, would gmake -jn
>make.out,after a successful build 
create an executable logging errors at make.out?
Any advise is greatly appreciated.
