In a previous run with CCM3, I found that changing the year to 1988 from
1950 produced a 0.46 W/m^2 (maximum) increase in solar insolation at the
location of peak incoming radiation (~20N) for a run beginning April 1,
1988. This produced some substantial differences in near-surface
temperature.
