[cam-users] automatical daily average is different

Hi Menglin,
Is it close? If your hourly data (h0) you output is instantaneous, the
average of these will be from 24 numbers, while the daily average output
(your h1) will be the averaged over each timestep (perhaps 20 minutes,
and thus involve 72 numbers). These should be pretty close for
"dynamics" fields (U, V, T, etc), but might differ somewhat more for
"physics" fields such as those computed from CLM, or boundary layer and
convection statistics. But still, I would hope the difference are small.
