Let me rephrase my question with the hope that it is more likely to elicit a
response:

Has anyone tried running cam2.0.1 on a linux cluster using the pgi compiler?
If you have, has SPMD mode run successfully or not?

Subject: [cam-users] cam2.0.1 on linux cluster

Dear CAM users:

I'm trying to run cam2.0.1 in SPMD mode on a linux cluster using pgi

cam2.0 runs fine SPMD, and cam2.0.1 runs fine on a single processor, but
cam2.0.1 SPMD gives the following

PGFIO/stdio: Resource temporarily unavailable
PGFIO-F-/list-directed write/unit=6/error code returned by host stdio - 11.
File name = stdout formatted, sequential access record = 669
 In source file /home/ghan/cam2.0.1/models/lnd/clm2/src/main/controlMod.F90,
at line number 712

which is in control_print, writing to unit 6.

Does anyone have any ideas why cam2.0 would run, but not cam2.0.1?

-Steve Ghan
