Has anyone looked at the effect of spectral representation of topography
on the precipitation field in either CCM3 or CAM ?
At T42, it seems to have an important impact on the precipitation in the
Amazon basin. Has anyone ever developped a correction for this problem
(similar to Lindberg and Broccoli, 1996 for the GFDL model) ?
