Information Session on Upcoming Supercomputing Changes - April 2

CISL staff will present an update on the Integrated Computing
Environment for Scientific Simulation (ICESS) supercomputing system,
phase 2. Blueice will be replaced by an IBM POWER 6 platform,
"bluefire." The session is scheduled for:

     * Wednesday, April 2, 2008:

       1:30 to 2:30 PM, Main Seminar Room at Mesa Lab

Topics will include:

        o Delivery and installation schedules
        o Early computing campaigns and how to apply
        o System access and data file transfer
        o Filesystems
        o /contrib
        o Early software experience
