1) Do you use the dedicated GAU-user e-mail alias?
Yes I do. I think it's a great way to practice the "good neighbor"
policy. We can tell each other when we expect to run large jobs, etc.
2) If not, how are you collectively managing the GAU resource?
3) How much "training" do you do when a new fellow joins the GAU user group?
Luckily for me, there was a presentation on the use of the supercomputers,
GAU resources, etc. at the retreat which was soon after I arrived at NCAR.
However I didn't do any formal training as a new fellow to the GAU user
group.
4) Do you think that a wicki and related inherent archive capability would
be a more useful way to communicate?
Perhaps a wiki might be a good idea in addition to the email group. The
wiki might afford us a more appealing and user-friendly way to present
information to the group, especially for the new fellows.
Addtional comments:
Perhaps offer a supercomputing and GAU resource mini-training once a year.

> Thanks in advance for your prompt response. Please reply even if you're
a new or irregular GAU user. TIA
