<html><head></head><body><div style="font-family: Verdana;font-size: 12.0px;"><div>Dear WRF Users,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I installed WRF9.0.1 with hybrid_opt = 2 option: ./configure -hyb:</div>
<div>================</div>
<div>
<div># configure.wrf<br/>
#<br/>
# Original configure options used:<br/>
# ./configure –hyb<br/>
# Compiler choice: 32<br/>
# Nesting option: 1</div>
<div><br/>
================</div>
<div> </div>
<div>
<div>And tried to run ./real.exe with hybrid_opt=2 in &dynamics.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>But got a mistake in namelist.input with the following comment:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>========================</div>
<div>
<div>--- ERROR: The code was not built with hybrid vertical coordinate enabled<br/>
--- Either set hybrid_opt=0 in the namelist.input file, or<br/>
--- re-compile with the hybrid vertical coordinate enabled<br/>
--- For example: clean -a ; configure -hyb ; compile em_real</div>
<div>=========================</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Re-installation didn't help.</div>
<div>Has anyone successfully run WRF9.0.1 with hybrid_opt=2 or there is a bug in WRF9?</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Kind regards</div>
