<p class="MsoNormal">I am a new WRF/WPS user, and I’m running into some issues with geogrid.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">I have previously run WPS and WRF successfully, but when attempting to implement another processing program in another model (MCIP in CMAQ), I realized I had some library issues, and thus needed to recompile WPS
and WRF.<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>

Now, I seem to have successfully compiled both WRF and WPS (all executables are made). But when I run ./geogrid.exe, this is the result:<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>

Processing domain 1 of 2<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>

ERROR: Error in ext_pkg_write_field<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>

Anything I've found regarding errors with "ext_pkg_write_field" have been a result of metgrid.exe, not geogrid.exe.<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
<br>
In /WPS/geogrid/src, within output_module.f90, there is this statement: "call mprintf((istatus /= 0), ERROR, 'Error in ext_pkg_write_field')" but I'm not sure what istatus is.<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><br>
